Welcome to the official information portal of the Hungarian Small Animal Ophthalmology Society.
The primary aim of the Hungarian Small Animal Ophthalmology Society is the professional promotion, training, co-ordination and support of veterinarians specializing in ophthalmology of small animals. This will lead to better and more efficient treatment of the ophthalmological diseases occurring in such animals.
The secondary aim of the Society is the development of a professional system for the screening of ophthalmological diseases in breeding dogs and cats. This will result in more efficient prevention of the principal eye diseases that occur in these animals.
Professional work carried out in the furtherance of these aims will improve the standard of care for small animals suffering from eye diseases, and thereby enhance the reputation of Hungarian small animal veterinary medicine in general.
